Long Beach Community Action Partnership

Long Beach Community Action Partnership is ecstatic to offer Project P.L.A.Y. (Partnerships Leading Active Youth) at The Villages of Cabrillo!  Our students make us proud everyday afterschool as they receive homework assistance from our BLAST Mentors, and participate in academic and enrichment activities.  What is most unique about our program is the excursions our students earn from their positive participation.  We challenge ourselves to create memorable experiences for our students to work towards such as: learning to boogie board, bon fires with s ‘mores, flying in  Cessna’s over Long Beach as a part of Harrison Ford’s Young Eagle Program, and even taking  a ski lift to the top of Mt. Baldy to play in snow for the first time.  Our staff is so grateful for this opportunity to partner with the amazing staff at the Villages of Cabrillo and build relationships with our students and  families.
